About Us
Kids Corner is an after school care program located on campus at Grant K-8 in San Diego, CA. Kids Corners' mission is to aid in the development of youth academically, athletically and emotionally. Our programs challenge kids to be the best they can be through the use of art, sports, activities and games.

This program started in 1982 by owner and former director Mike Golovko. After 40 years, Mike retired and left Kids Corner to his son Zach Golovko who runs the programs today.

Kids Corner is split between two locations. The main location is nicknamed “big” Kids Corner where we have students from 2nd-5th grade. The other location is called “little” Kids Corner for students from TK-1st grade. Both sites run a similar day to day schedule focusing on structured game time, homework help, supervised free play and snack in between activities.

Child Safety
We are licensed by the State of California which assures a safe environment for your children everyday. Your children’s safety is our number one priority. We have policies in place to make sure that your child feels safe while attending our program. Our staff is very friendly and attentive to your child's needs.

All Kids Corner Staff are First Aid and CPR certified as well as background checked before employment. Our qualified staff are an awesome team that love working with kids. They are ready to lead activities, join in on games and teach new things.
